Dr. Sundeep Dhawan

Dr. Sundeep Dhawan, affectionately known as Dr. Sunny, is an accomplished endodontist with a strong foundation in general dentistry. Prior to pursuing his endodontics residency, he practiced as a general dentist for six years, gaining invaluable experience in various aspects of dentistry.

Dr. Sunny’s academic journey began at the University of Illinois, where he majored in psychology for his undergraduate studies. He then attended the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, where he earned a DDS degree and a second bachelor’s degree. Following this, he pursued his passion for endodontics and completed his Endodontic residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. There, he received his master’s in oral sciences and conducted research on Endodontic rotary file design and use.

Dr. Sunny is a board-certified endodontist and a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Chicago Dental Society. He is a native of Orland Park, Illinois, and practices in Frankfort. Outside of work, Dr. Sunny enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife Puja, who is also a native of Orland Park, and their twin son and daughter. If he’s not with his family, you can find him on the golf course or learning about different types of bourbons. Dr. Sunny is a compassionate and skilled endodontist who is committed to providing his patients with exceptional care.
