Dr. Nisha Mehta

Dr. Nisha Mehta grew up in South Bend, Indiana, and attended school in the Midwest. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Purdue University and a Doctoral Degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry.

After completing dental school, Dr. Mehta underwent extensive post-doctoral training, including a General Practice Residency in Peoria, Illinois, where she expanded her surgical treatment knowledge. She then completed a year-long Implant Fellowship at the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine to further hone her skills. While working in Peoria, Dr. Mehta discovered her passion for endodontics and obtained a Master of Science Degree and a Certificate in Endodontics from Saint Louis University in Missouri.

Dr. Mehta is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in dentistry and endodontics to offer her patients the best treatment options available. Her educational background and work experience enable her to provide patients with a unique and informed perspective regarding endodontic prognosis, microsurgical endodontics, and implant treatment planning. She is an active member of the American Association of Endodontics, Academy of General Dentistry, and Illinois State Dental Society.

In addition to her professional interests, Dr. Mehta enjoys reading about health and nutrition and is particularly interested in the relationship between oral and overall health. Outside of the office, she loves hiking, biking, skiing, kayaking, and recently started taking storytelling classes. She also enjoys spending time with her family members helping out with animal rescues.
