Dr. Wenfei Wang

Dr. Wenfei (Fei-Fei) Wang is not your average endodontist. Born in the vibrant city of Dalian, China, she moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan at the age of four, where she was raised. She quickly developed a love for science, leading her to pursue a degree in chemistry with honors in biochemistry at the prestigious University of Michigan, from which she graduated in 2008.

During her time at Michigan, Dr. Wang’s research on the link between sleep and pain caught the attention of the scientific community, leading her to present four abstracts at national research meetings and publish two scientific papers. It was then that Dr. Wang discovered her passion for dentistry.

Dr. Wang pursued her passion at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her D.M.D. degree. During her time at Harvard, she discovered her love for endodontics, leading her to pursue a rigorous residency program in endodontics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). There, Dr. Wang honed her skills in conventional root canal therapy and microsurgical endodontics.

Dr. Wang’s commitment to excellence and passion for endodontics has earned her numerous accolades, including being named a 2018 Incisal Edge Top 40 Under 40 honoree. This prestigious award recognizes dental professionals who are renowned for their innovations, volunteer work, leadership, and commitment to outstanding patient care.

Outside of her career, Dr. Wang is a devoted mother to her twin boys. She also enjoys exploring her artistic side, with a passion for painting, charcoal sketching, and even sketching teeth! Her love for the arts extends to her work, where she uses her creativity and attention to detail to provide exceptional patient care.

Dr. Wang is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, and the Illinois State Dental Society. She is excited to be back in the Midwest, where she can provide the highest quality endodontic care to her patients.
